Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
AzmFit is operated by AzmFit ("AzmFit," "we," "us"). This policy explains what data we collect when you use the AzmFit iOS app or visit azmfit.co, how we use it, and your rights over it.

2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a hashed password, your name (if you provide one), and your preferred language.
Profile information you enter
Your date of birth, biological sex, height, weight, activity level, and fitness goal — used to compute personalized calorie and macro targets. You can change or delete any of these from Settings.
Workout and meal logs
Every workout you record (exercises, sets, weights, reps, notes) and every meal you log (food items, quantities, macros) is stored so it can appear in your history, charts, and Fitness Level.
Apple Health data (with your permission)
If you grant Apple Health access, we read steps, active energy, sleep duration and stages, and resting heart rate. This data syncs into your AzmFit account so it can power the Fitness Level score and weekly digest. We do not write back to Apple Health without your explicit action.
Subscription information
If you subscribe to Personal Pro or Coach Pro, we receive a transaction identifier from Apple through our subscription management provider. We never see or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple.
Coaching data (Coach Pro users only)
If you connect with a coach inside the app, that coach can see your workouts, meals, weight, and other logs you choose to share. Coaches can leave notes on your sessions. You can end a coaching relationship from Settings at any time, which immediately revokes the coach's access.
Device and usage information
We collect basic device information (OS version, app version, language, region) and anonymous usage events (e.g., which screens you open) to diagnose crashes and improve the product. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the core features: log workouts and meals, render charts, compute your Fitness Level, generate weekly digests.
- To process subscriptions and enforce tier limits (e.g., AI quota, custom food count).
- To send AI-generated weekly digests (you can disable this in Settings).
- To diagnose bugs and improve app performance.
- To respond to your support requests.
4. AI-powered features
AzmFit uses third-party AI providers to power the AI quick-log feature and the weekly digest. When you use these features, the relevant text (e.g., your meal description, or a summary of your weekly stats) is sent to the AI provider for processing. We choose providers that do not retain this data to train their models. We do not send your personal identifiers (name, email) along with these requests.
5. How we share your information
We share data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers who help us run the app — including our hosting and database provider, our subscription management provider, our AI provider, and Apple (for App Store delivery and payment).
- Your coach, if you have an active coaching relationship inside the app (and only the data they can see in their coach view).
- Legal authorities, if required by valid legal process (we will challenge requests we believe are overly broad).
6. Security
AzmFit data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We protect data in transit with TLS and at rest with industry-standard encryption.
7. How long we keep your data
We retain your account and logs for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes).
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your data.
- Correct — fix any inaccurate information (most fields are editable directly in the app).
- Delete — delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Export — request a portable copy of your data via our contact form.
- Withdraw consent — revoke Apple Health access from iOS Settings → Health → Sharing → AzmFit.
9. Children's privacy
AzmFit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, get in touch via our contact form and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
